Versace and Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 Couture| The Last

giorgio armani fall 2013 couture collection dress

Giorgio Armani knows how to dress a woman with class. His Fall 2013 Couture collection was without a doubt one of the most beautiful collections we had yet to have seen from Mr. Armani. He opted to stay away from bolder colors and instead go for nude colors that would blend perfectly with his old Hollywood theme. The collection described everything about the Armani woman: sensual, sophisticated, luxurious, and of power.

He began his show with a series of nude numbers that could take your breathe away. His suits were cut with such a subtle manner, it was difficult not to fall in love with them; the construction of those shoulders portrayed superb authority. But what probably made his suits a stronger presentation were pairing them with a number of impeccable matching and lightly embroidered wide-legged trousers. Mr. Armani indeed reconfirmed he can cut a perfect pair of his signature trousers, because whether he fails or not in any season, his classical trousers always saves him from a harsh critic. One thing for sure is that if you ever decide to go for his couture trousers here - luxury cotton, silk lame, and organza - or his more affordable ones, be assure that you will have invested in the perfect pair of dress pants any women seeks for; a sophisticating at a high level included.

He also introduced several handmade lace tops that imbued a sensuality with those hair styles the models wore. A full laced trench coat would be a magical fortune for any women who purchases it, as for his evening wear dresses were fit for a royal ceremony. The Emmy's are arriving sooner than you believe, and a dress from these collection (such as one pictured on the right above) wouldn't hurt anyone who seeks for a beautiful piece that could speak for itself.

The Resort 2014 Bestseller Collections - Sexy, Chic, Casual, Rebellious

The South is probably the most conservative of all states to savor a good dose of fashion. As you may already know, most designers have presented their newest Resort 2014 collections that will be available in most stores some time not during the next two months. Around December or next year perhaps?

I have come to the point of analyzing several collections most women here could come to an agreement with me that the following collections are perhaps a win for their closet. Having a great knowledge for fashion here is not necessarily needed as it would for a designer (runway) collection. The main goal of a resort collection is to really, short and simple, see what pieces sell the fastest, and what pieces stay on the floor the longest. It can become quite a stressful time, since most retailers want to see profit and clothes selling and selling. Most designers have to let go of their artistic (couture) abilities and turn on their marketing skills for resort. All customers want here is easy, luxurious, no drama pieces to wear any season or occasion. Yes, it can be quite challenging for some, but as long as most of their resort collection sell out, all is fine.

Below are just a few of the resort collection, who in my opinion, think have a potential of connecting with many customers, or simply sell out pretty good.

Fashion Review | Versace's Fall 2013 Vunk Theme

Versace Fall 2013 Vunk Theme

Vunk! This will become the new word of the fashion dictionary – punk style mixed with the sex symbol of Versace.

Versace literally nailed it this season. The manner of turning punk into something vunk was beyond perfection.  All items – mink skirts, tight fitted vinyl pants, and nail dresses – were convincing enough for any women who loves to take risks. There were elements of Gianni’s past work except they were modernized for today’s glamour chicks. It seemed Donatella wanted to be original…….and she was.

Spring/Summer 2013 Trends - 6. Gladiator Heels

Versace Spring 2013
Versace Spring/Summer 2013 shoes

Have you though about what shoes to accessorize your outfit this spring? Well think no further, because the answer is quite simple. Gladiator heels were seen at very prestigious runways for Spring/Summer 2013. Altuzarra, a brand that has gotten popular over the course of the season, pleased us with their interpretation of its shoes, adding femininity and gracefulness. Versace delivered by far one of the best gladiator heels in their collection. As we know, Versace is known for being that provocative and liberal feline, which the shoes declared it all. The fringe detail and medusa stamp marked and outgoing accessory for those who adore to party. Salvatore Ferragamo decided to restrain on too much detail and focus on emphasizing structure, which crocodile had a good amount to say. Tom Ford was probably by far, the most talked designer of the moment. For those that don’t understand, his unique design of gladiator heels had a lot to talk on media. The shoes just declare authority and confidence, and by the way, they are available in black, silver, or stunning gold.

Versace's Fall Fetish Accessories

Versace always finds a way to turn something so dark and unwanted into a sex symbol that would appear awkward when referred to the term "Gothic." Donatella makes sure somehow we turn something most of use wouldn't desire to be thought of, into that Gothic girl we would be willing to play the character.

Sexy Gladiators - Versace Spring/Summer 2013

Versace Spring/Summe 2013
Versace's Spring/Summer 2013 first outfit.

Versace has always been described as one of the most provocative fashion houses. This season there were no exceptions, for lace and gladiator princesses became the new lust to look after. The introduction of the first model wearing a black dress with lace running over her body and legs left very little to the imagination. Only a Versace girl is allowed to wear something like this, and with gladiator heels. The color palette centered more on the colors of the dessert (orange, cream, and warm blue), which brought a pleasant atmosphere to the show. The music and walk of the models all correlated exactly together to an “I don’t give a * what you think.” Donatella took a risk in introducing the crinkled silk effect dresses, describing the previous phrase. The slit dresses were all extraordinarily provocative, as for any women wearing it would need to take precautions of a wardrobe malfunction.
